There doesn’t seem to be a shortage of people trying to cash in on Alex Tew’s success with the milliondollarhomepage, including Alex himself with Pixelotto.
I’ve seen some pretty bad clones over the last 6 months or so, including Christmas Tag, but TurfJam is the worst MillionDollarHomepage Clone I’ve seen where the creators have actually spent more than 5 minutes setting it up.
How does it work? Well there are 100 pieces of ‘Turf’ available and 10 will be released at a time. Interested Turf owners (and there won’t be many!) bid on eBay for the privilidge of owning their own little piece of turf. For those lucky bidders who manage to secure a little piece of Turf, they will be able to proudly display their link for an expected 2 years.

I’m not against anybody making money, but I get tired of people who think they can make a fortune overnight without putting in any real effort. Alex may have done it, but to be honest it was a fluke in my view, and even he is struggling to turn Pixelotto into a success.
