Replace Gravatars With MyBlogLog Images

This will hopefully be my last rant about MyBlogLog.  As I mentioned earlier this week, MyBlogLog can automatically add images to your comments if a user is registered with MyBlogLog.  Unfortunately, the code only works if the commenter leaves a url.

The MyAvatars plugin fixes this problem, making it a good substitue for the gravatars plugin.  Myavatars shows MyBlogLog’s avatars in your comments instead of Gravatar’s ones even if you’re not subscribed to MyBlogLog.com.

The code was easy to install and I like the result as I can now manipulate the images to get them just how I want them.  I have one bug I need to fix though.  My blog has some old comments where users didn’t give an email address. See this post for an example, where I need to fix the formatting.

Can anyone help?
