Now Available: ShopLinc Module For aLinks Plugin!

I’m quite chuffed with myself as I’ve just managed to create (with help from Sean Hickey) my first WordPress mod!
Connected Internet is very proud to announce the ShopLinc Module for the aLinks Plugin, that allows users bloggers to automatically add links from manually created phrases to your ShopLinc store.
ShopLincs is a new customized CPC-based shop that you can skin to look like your own site. You can even host it on your own domain. The service is provided by Chitika who feature on many blogs.
So what does my aLinks ShopLinc module do? Well it allows you to manually choose which keywords within your posts will link through to the relevant product pages within your ShopLinc store. Once you’ve setup a keyword, the ShopLincs Module will automatically add links from any old and new posts that features that keyword, to your Shoplinc store.
Within minutes you will be able to setup shopping links within your blog for all your the main products you talk about. If you miss a product, then just log back onto the dashboard and add it later.
Here are some examples of links I’ve created:
- Zune
- iPod
- Nokia
- Treo
The little icon next to the links is to signify to readers that the link is an external one. If you search my blog for the same terms in older posts, you’ll see that the new Shoplinc ads have been added automatically to those posts as well.
If you don’t a Shoplinc store yet then click here. You may also want to signup for Chitika eMiniMalls:
If you don’t want to setup a ShopLinc store, then the aLinks plugin also supports Amazon affiliate links out of the box, and other modules are available for eBay and other affiliate schemes. It also tracks links so you can see which products are popular.
The aLinks plugin has one more very useful feature. the Deeper Blog module allows Wordpress users to create links from within their own posts to other posts that have content related to the keyphrase e.g. if you define the key phrase ‘magic’ and use the word ‘magic’ in another post, then aLinks will turn that automatically link the two posts. This will help to force visitors o your site to go deeper into your blog.
Want to give it a try? Then click here to download the ShopLinc Module for aLinks.
To install the module do the following:
- First download and install the aLinks Plugin and activate it (remember to read the instructions first)
- Then go to the new aLinks tab in the Dashboard
- Click on ‘Modules’ and click on ‘browse’ and locate the ShopLinc module zip you downloaded
- Click on ‘install’
- Then go to the ‘Settings’ sub-menu and enter your ShopLinc url and your ShopLinc ID
- That’s it!
