ReviewMe - Has Anyone Written A Review?

Since launching nearly six weeks ago, I haven’t come across any ReviewMe reviews on the web although SEOBook wrote a review of a successful campaign that they ran.

I’m starting to wonder if Google have ‘killed’ this new service, by being very negative about pay-per-post advertising services.  I can understand Google’s frustration with certain ad networks, but I really can’t see why a blog should be penalised for participating in a pay-per-post scheme.

Surely these ‘ads’ are no different to using ad networks that don’t serve contextual advertising?  I don’t even see how they are any worse than using Google Adsense, where a blogger has little control over what ads Google displays on their pages.   If a blogger want’s to participate in a crappy scheme, then let them, as their traffic will fall as a result.

ReviewMe appears to be a good reputable service to me, as not only do bloggers have the right to reject campaigns, unlike Adsense, they can also decide whether or not to write a positive review.  They also have to clearly state that the post is advertising.

Have you featured a ReviewMe review on your site?  How did it go?  Or, has Google scared you off?

I did a my first review using ReviewMe, on ReviewMe. So far, no one order another review yet. I still prefer ReviewMe over PayPerPost. It’s better to write what you wanted to than writing what others want you to write for the sake of money.

Just like Vincent said, I did my first review on reviewme, but sadly I didn’t get paid for it.

I then got an oppurtunity to write two more reviews worth $50 each. Here are the links

I had written about ReviewMe a good deal back. However, since you need someone to contact you for a review, I haven’t succeeded much on that respect.

Also the cost of writing a review on my blog via ReviewMe is a good sum, so I wonder how many people will be interested!
