Should I Block Google ‘House’ Adsense Ads?

I’m getting a lot of Google ‘House’ ads served on my site. They are very good quality, but I have a sneaky feeling I’m probably only getting 0.01 cents per click, as I doubt Google will pay advertisers market rates to display their own ads.

I don’t think this is very fair, as why should Google get cheap advertising? Do you think I should turn them off? The ads are probably getting a lot of clicks, so I’m making peanuts out of them whereas Google is getting a lot of coverage.

I was getting a tonne of Google Maps and Google Pack banners.

My CPM has doubled over the last couple of days, but because I Google’s reporting is so poor, I can’t tell which pages or ads are being clicked on
