How To Create Your Own Hosted Blog Part II

gHacks have just posted the second part to their guide to creating Your Own Hosted Blog. Martin has some sage like advice in this installement:

Hosting is essential of course but you should not be to afraid to make errors. I switched hosts three times before I found the one that offered me everything that I was looking for.

I had a similar experience when I was setting my host, and I think I switched hosts about 3 times in 48 hours until settled upon Siteground, and then I only lasted about 3 days on their shared service before I was effectively shut down for breaching their acceptable use policy. I’ve been with PowerVPS ever since and even then I’ve had to upgrade 3 times, with the final upgrade this week resulting in me moving to my own server.

If you’re looking for your first host, or are looking for a better deal, then check out the forum as there are a number of ‘experts’ there who can help.
