How To Add Related Posts To Your Feed

Whilst fixing my WordPress installation, I lost a tweak I did, which I’ve just put back in, which added links from my favourite plugin, Related Posts, to my RSS feed. If you’re not using the Related Posts plugin yet, then hang your head in shame, as it’s one of the best plugin for driving more page views.

I discovered the tweak to add Related Posts To A Feed whilst reading JohnTP’s feed, which included Related Posts links ( To see how this looks click here to view my feed). After doing a quick search on his site, I found this page that provided the necessary instructions:

  1. download and install Related posts WordPress Plugin
  2. download this file and replace your exisitng wp-rss2 file
  3. deactivate Feedburner Summary Burner if you have activated it

I guarantee that after adding this tweak you will see more site traffic from your feed readers. I think this is crucial, as although I love that RSS allows readers to keep in touch with what I’m blabbering on about, I hate the way it allows some users to read everything I write without ever needing to drop by the site now and then and say hello.
