Tab Effect For Firefox Extension – Very Cool
Everton | Jan 15, 2007 | Comments 4

I was on a friend’s computer over the weekend that wasn’t very powerful, so I couldn’t wait to get home to install the new Tab Effect addon for Firefox. Tab Effect is an extension for Firefox that adds a sort of rotating cube effect when you switch tabs. It looks very, very cool and very slick.
It’s a bit laggy even on my ATI X1900XT, so I think a good graphics card is essential if you want to give this Firefox extension a whirl.

Sounds like a jazzy addon for Firefox. I’m not a great fan of such addons, but I’ll surely give it a try!
Did you install it? How did you get on?
I just installed this. Sloooooow! I feel like I can write a term paper in the time it takes to roll over. Also, the image itself looks really blurry, like a bad image resizing job.
Good idea, not so good implementation.
I think they’ve improved the code as funnily enough I reinstalled it yesterday on my main computer yesterday and it’s much faster. But, you still will need a top notch graphics card
