Toddlers As Young As Two Are Downloading Content

According to Information Week, kids as young as 2 years old are downloading content to cell phones, computers, and portable digital music players.
“About 15% of 2- to 5-year-olds use cell phones and 62% of 11- to 14-year-olds use the devices, according to a new study by NPD Group.”
I’ve seen this first hand with my 4 year-old niece. Although, she can barely read, she has no problem navigating around a PC, mobile phone and more recently my Dell Axim Pocket PC. The Pocket PC seems to be her latest favourite, and I think the name ‘Pocket PC’ really resonates well with her, as it’s always in my pocket. She’s so adept with it now, that she’s even discovered functions I didn’t even know it had.
I can’t wait to see what her generation will be capable of when they grow up, as they will always have had technology around them. When I was her age, the most technology I had was a Talking Commander Action Man!
