MBL Community: FBI Warns Of Contract Killer Scam Spam

Today’s Featured post come’s from Zigre. In amongst the 500 spam emails Zigre gets per day, Zigre has spotted a new type of scam that attempts to extract money from poor individuals in a new, very scary way:
Instead of the death of a wealthy Nigerian bank owner resulting in massive $$$$ gain for you (etc) it’s an email from an assassin who has been hired to kill you – unless you can pay him $80,000 to drop the contract!
I’ve inserted an example below. Obviously we can’t call this ‘phishing’ as they are not out to steal your identity. What should we call this new type of ‘threat’? So far we have ‘Killer Spam’.

There will be another post from MBL Community tomorrow. Because there are too many members for me to check all of your sites daily, I’ve set up a new thread in the forum for you to let me know when you’ve written a good post. Please only post something you think is good or that fellow readers will be interested in, otherwise I’ll just ignore all of your suggestions.
