As my regular readers know, I’m crazy about music. I feel sorry for my neighbours sometimes as if I’m home I nearly always have something blasting out of my HiFi or my PC.
I have a huge music collection that I’m constantly trying to get more utility out of. I’ve just spotted a cool app on lifehacker that if it becomes available outside the US could allow me to appreciate my music collection evn more.
iConcertCal is a freeware plugin that integrates with iTunes to provide you with an iTunes-embedded calendar of upcoming concerts matching artists from your iTunes library.
iConcertCal searches sites like Pollstar and will update your concert info once a week. I haven’t been to a live concert or gig for yonks, and it’d be nice to see some of my favourite artists live.  the problem I have though, is I have such a diverse musical taste that keeping track of when my favourite artists might be in town is impossible. Hopefully, something like iConcertCal will be available in the UK soon.
