Ever since MyBlogLog got purchased by Yahoo which I guess put them on the radar of spammers, I’ve been getting 3-4 messages a day saying ‘check out this site!’ etc. Is anybody else having this problem? A very simple solution would be a setting to only allow messages from friends and contacts.
I hope they put something in place soon before the problem gets out of control.

If you look just above the messages on your profile page, you can select to view just the ones from your contacts.

I believe this will make the messages disappear but they`ll still coming to your inbox, right?!

there needs to be some way for people to request a ‘connection’ like on linkedin, but for genuine posters to link freely.
They also need to do something to block the spammers, as sooner or later someone will write a script that will bring the whole server down otherwise

Haven’t seen spam in my inbox, but then again i’m a small person
