This way, I get to publish exactly when I want, it fits perfectly into my blog because its just another post on my blog and, best of all, I get to add whatever commentary and/or pictures I want next to each link.

Kind of defeats the idea of doing a quick linkblog though!

I thought about running a Google Reader linkblog, but decided in the end to go with doing it manually. This way, I get to publish exactly when I want, it fits perfectly into my blog because its just another post on my blog and, best of all, I get to add whatever commentary and/or pictures I want next to each link.

It’s a bit more hassle, but gives tons more flexibility and, at the end of the day, I think it gives a better service to my readers.
