Yahoo Say Removing DRM From Music Will Boost Sales

Slowly, but surely DRM is going out of favour. Last week we had Steve Jobs calling for DRM to be removed from music, and now we have Dave Goldberg, head of Yahoo Music, doing the same:

“I’ve long advocated removing DRM on music because there is already a lot of music available without DRM, and it just makes things complicated for the user.”

Hopefully, someone at the one of the major labels will see sense and I can stop over-paying for my music, because I’ve gone back to CDs as I’m tired of buying music that I can’t play where I want, when I want.
