If you want to guarantee getting a Playstation 3 in the UK when they become available on the 23 March then pre-ordering from Play.com seems to be your best bet. Play.com are guaranteeing all PS3 pre-orders will be delivered on the release date. That’s an impressive promise, but they claim to have been given reassurances by Sony.
All I can say is I’d advise against pre-ordering from Amazon. One of my buddies pre-ordered a copy of Vista which still hasn’t arrived. If you’re looking for a cheap PS3 console-only deal, without being forced into buying loads of games then check out argos.
