Feedburner To Include Google Reader And Homepage Subs

I can’t believe I didn’t notice that Feedburner didn’t report Google Reader and Google Personalised Homepage subscribers in my feedcount statistics before (more info) Well Feedburner have just fixed this and Google Reader and Google Personalised Homepage stats will be appearing from Saturday morning U.S Central Time (when is that? Why can’t Americans use GMT like the rest of the world, and over 6 billion non-Americans?!!)

It’ll be interesting to see how much of an ego boost adding these numbers in will give most bloggers. My current stats are below:

pre-feedstats

Anyone want to bet on how many additional readers I will uncover from Google Reader and Google Personalized Homepage? I’m betting that it’ll be at least 200 as I think that Google Reader now the biggest market share out of all of the RSS readers, and Google Homepage should be good for at least 50 I think. My goal this month was to get my feedcount over the psychological 1000 threshold, and I think I should do now.

Want to have a guess as to how many more readers I will discover? If I get enough guesses I might give a prize to the best one.

I noticed nothing so far, my subscribers are always between 70 to 80+
  • I had a 33% increase.
  • Congrats on breaking 1000!

You picked up 210 more readers so you were pretty close with your 200 estimate.

I added 150 (556 total), but I'm on the Digg homepage at the moment so I don't think it will last long :-(
  • This means it should be active in few hours. That would be great and should show a jump in our feed counts.
