MBL Community: How P2P Can Revolutionise The Way We Get Music

I haven’t written a post highlighting a site from MyBlogLog community for a while. I really enjoy doing these posts as it forces me to go in search of new interesting sites with good content, rather than copying many other bloggers who just keep linking to the same big sites, who only link to each other and never back, and sometimes don’t even write interesting stuff.

This is how I discovered blogs like Dosh Dosh, which is one of favourite daily reads and nearly always features something I haven’t come across before, rather than the usual ‘how to increase subscribers….how to increase CTR…10 tips to…..’ type posts that get regurgitated every month.

I’m featuring Ashish’s site today. Ashish is a regular commenter on my blog and I was starting to feel a bit guilty that I hadn’t checked out his TechSpot blog. One post he wrote last week caugt my eye on How P2P Can Revolutonise The Way We Get Our Music.

If millions of people across the globe (P2P users ) paid a small fee for the freedom to download absolutely any music available in the network, legally, then that translates to billions of dollars worth of profit for the recording industry.!

I’ve always believed that if the music industry embraced technology and new distribution methods, they would be able to open up new markets. It’ll never happen though – not fast enough anyway.

There will be another post from MBL Community soon. Because there are too many members for me to check all of your sites daily, I’ve set up a new thread in the forum for you to let me know when you’ve written a good post. Please only post something you think is good or that fellow readers will be interested in, otherwise I’ll just ignore all of your suggestions.

Lol you are bigging me up too much. It’s the least I can do to say thanks for reading my blog and helping to get discussions going by leaving loads of comments.

BTW have you joined the forum yet?
