Success - I’ve Broken 1,000 Feed Subscribers!

One of my goals this month was to increase my feed count to over 1,000 and thanks to Feedburner including Google Reader and Google Personalised Homepage subscribers in my count and adding a further 210 subscribers, I’ve now achieved this landmark reaching the giddy heights of 1,116. I know it’s cheating a bit, but I’m still happy with my success as my feedcount has increased by nearly 600 in just over 2 weeks!

I know that feedreaders only constitute a small proportion of my daily readers as I still receive around 70% of my traffic direct from Google, but its a nice ego boost to see my feedcount grow. If you haven’t subscribed to Connected Internet, you can help me continue to massage my ego by choosing from one of these subscription options.

The recent Google additions has made me wonder what other big feed readers aren’t included in feedburner’s numbers? I know that Yahoo are missing, but are there any others?

    Ah, if only I get to break the 1000 mark! That’ll really put a smile on my face :)

    Lol. I have 239 at the moment.. wasn’t going to put up the feed count until I reached 500 but that might take some time.

    I usually see a lot of people clicking on my bigass Feed icon everyday but oddly the feed count doesn’t increase much. Oh well.

    My count on http://ajaydsouza.com/ jumped to 300 but fell again today :(

    Techtites doubled, but you know the reason… it should level off to around 120 I guess within a day or two… long way to go!

    BTW, you’re quicktags are throwing up javascript errors.
