Now it’s your chance to rake in more traffic from India by blogging about yahoo malayalam language portal content issue as Om did today!

I booked myself in an Indian language course today ;-)

I think chances of being ranked for .com or .co.uk in organic results are pretty much the same

I don't think so. The traffic for my other experimental site which is a .com address is so heavily skewed towards the US, I think it does have an impact. It makes sense as Google will assume that a .co.uk site will have more relevant content for the UK.

Although, you could still be righit in that I'm not disadvantaged by not having a .com address and in fact I could be actually benefiting from having a .co.uk address!

Same with mine, Major of viewers come from US, followed by India and UK. I think chances of being ranked for .com or .co.uk in organic results are pretty much the same

Ajay and Thilak are not the only Indian bloggers... and if you walk into a bar, unless it is filled with bloggers, you're chances of being talked about are miniscule!
Well, my chances are just about the same!
