Xbox 360 To Be Silenced Through Software Update?
Can one of my German readers translate this page for me please. According to Kotaku it says that the Xbox 360 is going to be made quieter through a software update. I really hope so as one of the reasons I don’t tend to use my Xbox 360 as an extender is becuase it runs far too loud.
I guess what they are going to do is implement something like Speedfan which is a great free app for controlling your PC fan speeds to make your PC run quieter. I use Speedfan to control the speed of the fan on the radiator on my watercooler so that PC doesn’t sound like a banshee when it doesn’t have to.

I hope so. I was up late playing Crackdown with the sound off and I couldn’t get over how loud the thing was.
