Feedback On Using Intellitxt And Adsense At The Same Time

Last month Google removed its restrictions that stopped websites displaying other contextual ads at the same as Google Adsense ads. The only condition that Google now makes is that if other contextual ads are displayed then these must not look the same as your chosen Google Adsense units. I’ve had no joy using Chitika in the past so I thought I’d give Intellitxt a go. So far it’s going well, and it has added roughly 15% to my daily earnings overnight without any of my other schemes suffering.

Intellixt adds contextual inline ads to content, which allows sites to add more revenue generating opportunities without adding more clutter to sites. The ads are clearly indicated to visitors by being highlighted in a different colour. If a link is hovered over a small ad window is displayed that disappears after a few seconds. If the user doesn’t click on the window then the publisher isn’t paid to stop any accidental payments being made.

The publisher can choose to display up to 5 links per page, and up to 2 links per paragraph. However, no links are displayed if Intellitxt can’t match any words on a page to a current campaign. You can also exclude sections of your site from having ads displayed, in a similar manner to Google Adsense.

If you want to give Intellitxt a go then you can apply directly via their website but I found it took me a few weeks to get a response and on the website it says you need a minimum of 500k page views per month.  However, if you apply via Intellitxt’s referral programme you only need 250K page views.  If you would like me to refer you then send me a PM in the forum.
