Testing Text Link Ads

I’ve had a lot of success selling text links via Text Link Ads, with at least nine of my ten links always being sold. I’ve always been curious why Text Link Ads are so popular with advertisers so I decided to purchase some links.

I’ll let you know in a month how much traffic I get from my links.

I requested a custom proposal from Text Link Ads, and the links that were suggested were very good matches so I purchased the proposal without making any changes. Luckily just before I checked out I remembered that Text Link Ads offer $100 off the first purchase so my $140 worth of links only cost $40, which I think is acceptable for an experiment.
