Connected Internet $100 Birthday Giveaway

As it’s my Connected Internet’s birthday today I’ve decided to do a special birthday giveaway. Last month my regular readers will have noticed that I published my site earnings for the first time. I will be doing the same this month and all you have to do to win $100 is to guess how much I will make through blogging in March in dollars.
You can guess as many times as you like, but the closest guess will win $100 in Amazon vouchers. Simple. Good luck to everyone.

Either “feel free to post 3000 entries” or I’m a “spammer”. You pick, I said I’d limit myself ‘cos I didn’t want to take the mick. You’re the one that said “let ‘er rip” and since $100 of Amazon vouchers would be a nice way to start April (the 1st is actually my birthday - no jokes I’ve heard them all) I followed your instructions.
Should I continue “spamming”? Can you add me to a safe list?

you can continue spamming if you want. Whenever I go into my spam folder I just go into auto-pilot mode so I clicked delete rather than recover without thinking.
I’ll pay more attention next time. It’ll be interesting to see how many entries you make before you get bored

Ouch! Man, you’re taking this hard. Wasn’t I (a) the first commenter and (b) the guy that pointed out that allowing “as many entries as you like” was a sure fire way of inviting this kind of response?
Furthermore, in my first post (which isn’t showing right now - did you delete it to make me look bad?) I said that I’d limit myself to a few entries and you immediately replied with “feel free to post 3000 entries”.
It really feels like you’re trying to have your cake and eat it.

I honestly don’t understand the abuse. I wasn’t trying to spam and I posted a message as soon as I saw your latest post to say that I’d limit myself to a few entried. Actually the numbers quoted by Alexa for my site and John’s are a classic example of how bad Alexa’s stats are as according to Google Analytics John’s site had 266K page views in Feb whereas my site had 360k - 100K more!
I think this is because John has done something to improve his rating or more of his users have the toolbar installed or something. It’s on my list of things to investigate as unfortunately many advertisers do exactly the same thing as you.
