Translators Wanted For Connected Internet

Following my decision over the weekend to remove my automatic translation tool, I’m now looking to recruit human translators to translate my blog into other languages. Key languages I am interested in are Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, German and French. If you can translate my site into another language then please let me know. To start with I would need you to translate my top 25 posts, and then daily new posts (3-5 a day).

In return, I am following Martin’s lead and offering 50% of the Adsense revenue that the translated pages generate, which should generate earnings of $7-10 dollars per thousand visitors. This may not sound like a lot, but over time as you translate more pages the traffic will grow. Also focusing on the top posts first should accelerate traffic growth.

  • Good thinking, but its a really hectic job to do manual translation. For chinese, I guess you can get a better deal by hiring a chinese freelancer. I'm not sure about others
  • Luckily I've already signed up a chinese recruiter, which was one of my targets.

    I actually don't think it's a big job -depends on the translator. No more than 30-60 mins per day, which I think could generate a respectable income. The real money should come from the effort put in at the start to translate my top 25 posts, which probably account for 10-20% of overall traffic.

    You are the only one who knows the benefits from this work, as you should be able to analyze your traffic correctly and choose the right language that should your posts translate to!

    By the way, wait me today to publish a good posts that you would thank me about after reading it, as I think it would be VERY helpful for you ;)

  • Manual translation seems like a great idea, Everton.. I could do Japanese, Chinese and French but translation is really, really boring to me and I don't have the time so I haven't even bothered to do it for Dosh Dosh.

    Any updates on how removing the translation plugin has affected/not affected your SERPs ranks?

    No update on SERPs yet.
  • I no longer need people to cover: Chinese, German, Italian and French.

    I'm still keen on recruiting a Spanish and Japanese translator. Any other languages are also welcome.
