Windows Vista’s sales in its first month topped 20m, whereas Windows XP when it was launched only sold half that amount. This is amazing given the amount of negative press Vista has received.
I’ve had no problems at all with Vista, apart from a few programs and my TV card still not working. But, in my view this isn’t Vista’s problem and I blame the manufacturers.
If you haven’t made the switch yet I’d recommend that you make the switch as soon as economically possible. Vista Ultimate may cost the same as a budget PC, but I think it is worth it.
