Playstation 3s Banned From UK Prisons
Everton | Mar 31, 2007 | Comments 2
I read yesterday a story on ITV News saying that PS3s had been banned from UK prisons. I was expecting to see that the reason was because the UK was finally getting tough on crime, but according to Home Secretary John Reid the ban was put in place because:
“The Sony PlayStation 3 was barred from the prison estate because of the equipment’s ability to send and receive radio signals”
Unbelievable. If the Home Office is wasting time making such pointless decisions, then no wonder there are so many criminals running lose in the country they haven’t had the time to keep tabs on!

They have PS3 in prison ? I don’t have a PS3 and I’m a free man.Prison must be a place where people must be punished for their mistakes.
They shouldn’t have a TV let alone game consoles,
It’s like a holiday club not prison. Far too easy on them
