PS3 Vs Xbox 360: Which Has Better Graphics?

I suppose we won't properly see which has the better graphics till we're another year or so down the life time of each console, particularly the PS3. However, I've only just got my Xbox 360 and a new HDTV to go with it and I'm certainly loving the graphics on that - it really has rekindled the gamer in me I'd say!

I've not played games properly on the PC for ages now - think it's the thought of sitting at a desk after a day at work to play a game when I could chill out on the sofa. That's why I'm thinking of getting Oblivion on Xbox even though I have it on PC - only played it once for about 30mins!

I played Oblivion for about an hour as well. The problem I had was I can't play more than a few times a week so I need games I can just pick up and get into straight away.

I've been hearing and seeing on forums that people have been disputing about which console is better, PS3 or 360?

Its obvious to say the PS3 is the clear winning due to its hardware e.g the blu-ray disc capicity stacking up to more than five times the space of what the 360's disc's can hold.

At the moment, though it isnt really possible to see any difference between the 360's and PS3's graphics e.g ghost recon 2, but i can asure everyone that as time gradually moves on and developers are able to harness the power of the PS3, we will all realize that it is the must have next next generation console.

it dosent matter about the disk space they both have plenty of from on each i had an xbox 360 loved the graphics but i got the ring of death and as it was my second xbox i thought i would try out the ps3 big mistake its slower the graphics cant in a million years match the 360 i was very disipointed the only good thing about the ps3 is it quite the xbox 360 sounds like world war 3 is about to happen

look people ps3 and 360 has variations for sure in their graphics. both systems are powerful. ps3 is more powerful compared to 360 ,as the specs shows. its not wrong with the ps3 console. and we shouldn't doubt the ps3 capabilities. 3 companies strives their knowledge to develop the revolutionary cell processor. ps3 has the huge horse power to generate next gen games. the problem lies in developing games. developers facing hard time to understand the ps3 technology, and suffering complex issues with code programming . 360 was successful bcoz developers experience ease, to implement code generation and graphics due to its supported hardware. TIME WILL TELL . ps3 needs time to shine. soon or later developers finds a way ., when the obvious stuff get out of the way .. no console can beat the standards of ps3 in first place.

can people with a ps3 play online with people in xbox 360?

Ive been a playstation fanboy since i dont know when, I own both 360 and PS3, and the game to really see who owns who is Elder's Scroll: Oblivion, the best scenic looking game to date, Id have to say the 360 has the edge, only because of its video card, the ps3 version runs a little faster, less loading and farther view distance, the the 360 has better colors and things are shiny where they need to be, like on the stones and mud on the ground, but both are powerhouse systems, so id say get both because both are going to have great games that the other you cant play on

I'd still say Xbox 360, especially if you like online play, but a PS3 is now looking a lot more tempting given it's cheaper price and the cheaper Bluray discs appearing that you could play on it.
