How Much Is Your Website Worth?

Valuing websites is extremely hard and there’s no set method for doing it.  However, it is worthwhile having a rough idea of how much your site is worth as you may wake up one morning to find a surprise email with an offer.  I’ve had a few offers in the past, but I’ve turned them down even though they weren’t too bad as at the time I thought Connected Internet still had a lot of growth in it.

If you’re interested in learning about some of the methods used to value sites then check out this post from gHacks. Very useful reading, both if you are thinking of selling or buying.

Couple pricing tools for websites. No tool can be completely accurate though…

Two pricing calculator tools. Nothing is completely accurate though without human input.

there is also http://www.adsbay.co.uk/Link_ad_price_calculator.php which i find more accurate than both the pricing tools mentioned above, but all these tools only calculate the value of internet advertising space, not the value of the website its self, which is what this post is about!

If we’re talking ajaydsouza.com no price is good enough for me. Since it is my personal website I don’t think I would be willing to sell.
