Affiliate Marketing 101: Where Do I Start?

Learning how to optimise web content, advertising and about SEO has been quite easy for me as there’s a lot of synergy between running a blog and what I do in my day job.  However, I really haven’t been able to get my head around affiliate marketing.

So this is a shout-out to all the affiliate marketers out there - Maki, Dan&Jennifer etc.  Where do I start with Affiliate Marketing?  What schemes should I look at first?  Do I run them off this site, or do I need to setup new sites?  What good guides should I read?  Any other tips?

    Best place to start for a newbie affiliate marketeer is the a4u forum take a few hours and read some old threads also check out the affiliate marketing blogs that are about, my aggregator site Internet Marketing Blogs UK (sorry for the shameless plug) lists a good number and for a more US feel try Bumpzee.com ,
