Post Level Text Link Ads Coming This Week?

John Chow has leaked details about the new Text Link Ads product, Post Level Text Link Ads, that was hinted at a few weeks ago. Post Level Text Link Ads will allow advertisers to target their text links ads better by being able to place ads at the bottom of individual posts, rather than buying site-wide links. Each ad will have up to a 80 character title and 150 letter description.

I like the idea of the new scheme and I have a number of posts that I think will be attractive to advertisers, including 10 Simple Ways To Speedup XP which ranks #1 or #2 for many related terms on Google. However, I think the new system is going to be very complex for Text Link Ads to manage. I also think it will only be successful for a few blogs with popular posts, rather than delivering the broad success that the main Text Link Ads scheme has for many blogs.

The service is expected to be launched this week so I guess we will find out very soon.

  • Hi,

I'm the developer of WP Text Ads. It's a WordPress plugin that allows bloggers to sell ads directly to advertisers.

This means you get paid instantly, and pay no commissions. Furthermore, you can set your own ad rates and runs and build business relationships.

I believe WP Text Ads complements TLA and Adsense very well :)

The web site is here - http://www.wptextads.com

If you use it, I'd love to hear from you

My email is alexchoowk at wptextads dot com

    Cheers!
