Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 Quick Blast
I had a group of mates over last night as it’s a Bank Holiday Weekend in the UK and we did a lot of gaming. We didn’t play a lot on the new PS3 as I couldn’t find a second controller in stock anywhere. I did however rent Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 for my Xbox 360 from Blockbusters and it is absolutely amazing. The improvements over the original GRAW are subtle but make a big difference to the overall gameplay, particularly in multiple player mode.
We still sucked and couldn’t complete a mission, but mainly because we didn’t manage to put our best ’squad’ out until about 4am and by then I think we were all starting to flag a bit. I don’t think I’ll be buying GRAW2 as I’m trying to stop buying all the latest games and only playing them twice, but I will be hiring GRAW2 the next time I have a group of mates round for another big night.

I’ve only starting playing GRAW 1 single player campaign in the last few weeks, so am enjoying playing that for now - once I’ve got a bit better at it I’ll probably venture into the multiplayer!
Good to know there’s another good game awaiting me once I’ve completed the first!

I’ve just heard Halo 3 beta is launching on May 16th - which means I’ll be able to play it (got a menu option to access it from my Crackdown game menu) then. Definitely we should have a “connected internet” clan party then

Is Crackdown any good? I don’t want to buy yet another game I’m not going to play just to get access to the Halo 3 beta….
