Is That A PC In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Happy To Surf The Web From Anywhere?
Call it what you want to call it, accessibility, convenience, intuition or damn near ingenious, the future is now and we are browsing the internet from the pc in our pants.
Pocket pcs, using the Windows Mobile operating system, come equipped with all the basics like Pocket Outlook for mail, calendaring, contact and task management, a Notes Application, Pocket Internet Explorer, Pocket Word and Pocket Excel (similar look and function as Windows but with slightly different features because, well, that’s what happens when potential capability is compacted into a tiny pc).
Currently, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular and AT&T offer the Windows Mobile Phone Edition Pocket PC which combines a cellular phone with the pocket pc so, we can, in essence, knock out two birds with one stone, by simply using our pocket pc (both Sprint and Verizon use CDMA networks while T-Mobile, Cingular and AT&T use GSM networks).
Whether in our car, at the game, riding the bus or on the toilet, we’re now surfing the web, taking care of business and never missing a beat. With anytime access to emails, updates, scores and news, we’re connected 24/7 to the world that we live in and we’re loving it. No longer are we getting too big for our britches for now, we are getting bigger britches to better hold our pocket pc’s.

Buddy!.. What were you trying to convey through this post?!
Mobile Browsing is something which could be dealt with more detail and passion.

Sorry, “Buddy”, it was my first PC post (second connectedinternet post if you want to count my “the daddy of the macs” post) and I just kind of winged it, to be honest with you. I apologize for the weakness and I do promise to bring the fire next time. No need to get all huffy, though, you know. Plenty more to come, please stay tuned, I’m gonna make you proud, buddy.
Love,
Scott
