BlackBerry 8800: The BIG BlackBerry Pearl

With similar look, casing and trackball style d-pad as its smaller counterpart, the Pearl, the BlackBerry 8800 looks like a BIG BlackBerry Pearl.
The BlackBerry 8800 has kept the push email with attachments, Bluetooth, push-to-talk and PIM functions but has added some new features like a built-n GPS with TeleNav support, a microSD card slot and a longer lasting battery.
Intended mainly for the business world, the BlackBerry 8800 does not have a camera on it so, your high school children may not love the 8800 as much as your typical corporate person would.
The BlackBerry 8800, a quad-band GSM world phone, currently runs on Cingular/AT&T’s network and utilizes EDGE for data. With it’s sleek design, push email with attachments, filter and searching functions, software, PIM (and desktop) syncing, a longer battery life and support for a 312MHz processor and GPS, the only potential drawback of the BlackBerry 8800 that I can see is that it does not yet have 3G support.
They are currently priced at $299.99 with with a new Cingular Wireless Voice & Data Plan and $499.99 without a new plan. I want one! Does anyone have one? You like it? You don’t like it?
