Championship Manager 2007 Available On Mobile

Probably the best football game ever, Championship Manager 2007 is now available on mobiles from £5.

I’m amazed that it has taken this long to see the light of day. Six years ago when I used to work for Vodafone’s content arm, I discovered after that my neighbour of two years was the MD of Sports Interactive who actually produce the game for Eidos. I tried to broker a deal to licence the game which they’d just develop for Vodafone, but we couldn’t agree terms.

My brother is totally addicted to Champ Manager - it’s the only game he plays. I think I might buy a copy for him so he can play it on his way to work as he’s stuck on a train for about 2 hours a day.

I’m sorry Everton - I simply can’t agree with your first sentence in this post!

Championship Manager used to be the best football management game, but for the last 3 years or so, that has to be Football Manager 2005/2006/2007, made by SI who did make the original CM.

I’d question how good this will be now, but I suppose it might still make a great mobile game.

I’d be interested in reading what you think if you did get the game.
