Mac Twitterrific 2.1 beta: Supports Growl,AppleScript And NetNewsWire

Twitterrific 2.1 beta for the Mac
Iconfactory has released Twitterrific 2.1 (beta 2) for the Mac with some sweet new features. Perhaps one of the most desired capabilities of Twitterrific 2.1 beta for the Mac is support for Growl (Note: just remember to adjust Growl settings in System Preferences and everything will be Twitterrific :) ).

For those of you who are not familiar with Growl or the support there of, Growl is, in essence, a global system for Mac OS X operating system which allows users to have certain notifications ‘growled’ for them.

Growl is perfect for the user looking to control their notifications/alerts and it is perfect for the application developers who are looking to spend less time creating notifications and more time mastering usability and functionality.

Just behind Growl support is the ability to create multiple Twitter accounts which means that Twitterrific 2.1 beta for the Mac will be using its own Keychcain entries now and will no longer be on Safari’s keychain (more free space for you on Safari!).

But, that’s not all! This new Twitterrific also has NetNewsWire integration for ‘tweeting’ those news headlines as well as AppleScript support (which is a must have for anyone who has tried to create Mac OS X applications).

Once again, Iconfactory has produced another great software application for the Mac. And, don’t take it from me take it from Twitterrific,

This new version of Twitterrific is, like, 0.5 times cooler than the last one.

Twitterrific 2.1 (beta 2) for the Mac is now ready for download. Tweet, tweet, it’s Twitterrific!
