Get A Joost Beta Invite
Thanks to Alpesh who sent me a link to try out the Joost Beta out of the blue, I’ve been playing with Joost’s online videos this morning. I can’t believe I haven’t checked it out before as the service is amazing and the video quality is what YouTube needs to aspire to. Within 5 minutes I could see that this is the future of online video, and I can see why Joost has so many admirers from both users, but more importantly, video content owners.
The Joost online video service is still in Beta and you need to get an invitation from a friend to be able to join. If you would like to try out the Joost Beta then please leave your details (don’t forget to leave your email address in your comment!) in a comment below. The only condition I have is that once you have registered with Joost, then please hook up two other people who have left a comment, and so on and so on.
UPDATE If you are going to share can you do the following please:
- Check to see who has already been received an invite
- Leave a comment first to say who you are sending one to, to try and ensure none are wasted
- Don’t forget to share your thoughts on Joost with other readers
Hopefully if we work together, every Connected Internet reader can get onto Joost’s Beta
If you haven’t come across Joost yet, it is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping. The online video service is the latest brianchild of Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis who created Kazaa and Skype, which is kind of sickening as it looks like they are onto another winner.
