I’m so glad that Team Executor have confirmed that the pictures below showing Avalaunch running with a larger HDD installed on a HACKED XBOX 360 ARE GENUINE!!! My Xbox 360 has spent over a year waiting for this news, as the main reason I purchased it was because I wanted to run XMBC on it.
There are no details of what Team Executor did to actually hack the Xbox 360, what kind of chip was involved or, more importantly, whether mere mortals like myself will be able to modify their Xbox 360s without frying them. I’m beginning to worry now that I should have kept the faith for a bit longer and not splashed out and built a HTPC.
Nevertheless, it’s a significant step in the right direction and I hope that more details are released soon.
