Microsoft Says Xbox 1 Graphics Are Better Than A Wii
Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft’s entertainment division, said in an eWeek interview that the Nintendo Wii’s graphics are worse than on the Xbox 1, which is now over 5 years old:
“The video graphics on it aren’t very strong; the box itself is kind of underpowered; it doesn’t play DVDs; there are a lot of down-line components [that] aren’t actually that interesting. They don’t have the graphics horsepower that even Xbox 1 had.â€
That’s quite an amazing statement. But, I think it just goes to show what a great device the Nintendo Wii is. Nintendo have put together a device that costs significantly less than the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 to manufacture, but which is still managing to hold its ground thanks to delivering an amazing user experience. I can count on one hand the number of people who have said they don’t like a Wii, and many of my friends have purchased one for their partners and wives to play, or for their kids.
I don’t own a Wii, but I wish I did as the problem I’m having with my Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 is that I don’t have a lot of time to use them, which makes it hard for me to get the most out of games, as I keep familiarising myself with the controls etc. I hardly go online anymore as I’m very competitive and it drives me crazy when I keep getting my ass kicked because I’m still familiarising myself with games. I will however make an exception for Halo 3 when it comes out.

I am very happy with my Xbox360. I got one just before the Wii was released, so I was seriously in doubt if that was the right thing to do. Should I have traded it in for a Wii instead?!
I’m glad I didn’t as I said I’m very happy with my 360, though I would like to have a Wii too
The thought of fencing for Zelda really “turns” me on. Did you see the fabricated demo for the new Star Wars game on YouTube? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuzFzs0hPKc
Its pretty close to giving me wet dreams
When they make a Star Wars game like this I’ll buy a Wii without hesitation.

I just found this article on Reuters.
http://www.reuters.com/article/ousiv/idUSN1134213420070512
According to it Microsoft expects Halo 3 to be even bigger than Halo 2. (Sold $125 million the first 24 hours)
Quote: “I will however make an exception for Halo 3 when it comes out.” confirms that

I have the same problems as you Everton in terms of finding time to play games - I’ve developed an unfortunate habit of buying games at bargain prices which i post on my blog and so I’ve got a shelf of games I’ve barely played!
One of the worst things is forgetting the controls between gaming sessions - that’s not a good sign!
Have you seen the site where you can set up a blog for your Xbox Live account - it can come up with some interesting posts, especially when you don’t play for over 2 weeks!

lol Zath that’s funny. My Xbox has probably filed for divorce by now. I’m going to show it some love this evening though as it has been a while

What a cool idea. You Xbox goes Tamaguchi. I have to try out the latest update anyway, so I’ll have to make my Xbox happy.
