Joost’s Partnership Targets Leaked In PDF

CybernetNews have just written a great post on how Joost mistakenly leaked details of 61 publishers it wanted to signup for its Online Video service. The details came to light when Joost converted a powerpoint presentation to PDF, which accidentally revealed information hidden in the slides.

There are some impressive names in the list of Joost content targets. If only a few of these emerge, then Joost is going to be lightyears ahead of any online video service:

Joost Content Targets

There are some serious big hitters in the list like Warner Bros, Universal Music, Sony, ITV and EMI. Even if Joost are only successful in signing a third of these deals, it’s still going to have a very compelling service.

I’ve stopped my Joost invite exchange as I couldn’t keep up and despite sending over 300 invites only a handful of people bothered to say thanks and shared their invites. However, if you are still looking for an invite then Tony has restarted the process.

That is an impressive list. Looks like Joost is going to blow the competition away.

    Everton,

Do you know what’s going on with your MyAvatars MBL plugin? You’re having the same problem I noticed on our site over the past couple of weeks, just haven’t had a chance to look into it yet.

Instead of a pretty picture, it says “MyAvatars 0.2″, like maybe MBL changed their photo storage structure or something. In Internet Explorer, I think you see a broken image symbol and then the image alt text of “MyAvatars 0.2″.

    Thanks!
    Dan
