I’ve written about several highly addictive free online games on my site, TheBetaNews
Now I have gathered the Top 6 most addictive, dangerous, time consuming and free games. They can all be played through your browser and don’t require any installation.
A word of advice, do not read this post if you are very busy or at work, as these games are very addictive. Remember, don’t be embarrassed, share your score with us and let me know if I missed any of your favourite games.
6. Weewar
This is a turn based game. Any player can start a game, first by choosing from a number of terrains and then inviting other players. You take over factories and set them to produce more armies, tanks, etc., which then move on to take over yet more factories or battle other players. Not everyone has to be around at the same time to play the game. You have your turn, and then the next player is notified by email that it is their turn. (This is still in beta.)
5. Grand Strategy
Again a turn based game inspired by Risk, where the object is simple: eliminate your opponents and achieve global domination! It is an advanced version of Weewar.
4. gpokr
Multiplayer no limit Texas Holdem game developed with Ajax technologies. It features real time chat, but no real money.

Games are good, but i prefer board games (especially chess) anyone would like to play?
nice but kdice is dying because of pre game alliance, rude players, bug in th eprogram (lag,, fail to sit in, fail to take turns, offensive avatars, etc.)
dotnetnuke: I’m a complete noob at chess, so I’m afraid I can’t help you there.
Kenneth: A real shame about kdice. What do they expect to gain from it? lol
