Get Paid To Search With Mahalo
Well, not quite. One Tip A Day has just noticed that Mahalo, a new search engine that delivers results created by individuals rather than algorithms, is now recruiting part-time guides who will get paid $10-15 per result created. At the moment they have a pot of $16m which is available to pay users to create search results, so there’s a lot of money to go around.
If you manage to get accepted then creating a few results a day could add up to a nice additional income stream. Currently only US citizens can apply.

I wonder how this will pan out in the end. There are a couple of other similar concepts out there and for at least one of them, I can say that the “guides” have been increasingly less happy with the payout vs. time spent.
