Are You Getting An iPhone Next Week?

View Comments June 23, 2007 | Everton

The Apple iPhone is getting released next week, after a ridiculous amount of hype over the last couple of months. Will you be getting an iPhone? If so, please drop by when you get your new pride and joy and let everyone know what you think of your new toy.

It’ll be interesting to see if it lives up to the buzz that Apple have created around this product. The iPhone isn’t on my shopping list as the lack of 3G support and keyboard make it a no-go for me, as I send a lot of emails and texts on my mobile.

  • There is no games in Iphone

Oh, they'll be plenty for sale!
  • There is no games in Iphone

  • I won't be getting it, firstly its not available in India. :-) Secondly its too costly. I would rather go for other phones like N95
  • Anon

it's not included in my next week's budget as it's just too expensive with the

    limited functionalities

  • N73 Music version is good.
  • I'd prefer an N93i. More practical features compared to the iPhone.

I'l be waiting til the come out legit in the UK and by then hopefully they'll be on version 2.0 with some of the early bugs ironed out

I can vouch for the N73 as being a great handset though
  • I won't be looking to buy one. Like Everton I want internet connectivity and other non-Aple functionality ... the iPhone seems to have bene designed in a vacuum.

My sister-in-law just picked up a lovely Nokia N-73. I am not sure if it does everyhting muci-sise that the iPhone does, but it comes with earbuds, more music D/L, storage and playback featurs thna I can even figur eout and excellent camera/video file handling. I'd actually prefer an N-95, but like everything else that uses Windows Mobile the battery won't last even a full day ... sexy but impractical.
  • I've seen it in action and I have to admit it is more than impressive. I'm not sure it is worth the investment to me just yet, though. I am one of those people who is just fine with a cell phone that is simply a phone :)
  • i wish i could.. But i'll have to wait till it's released here next year.. :(
