Get Vista For Free - Vista Transformation Pack 7
I had to setup XP on a laptop for a friend at the weekend, and I was shocked to see how complete my conversion to Vista has been. I found it really hard to use XP, and it just seemed to clunky and boring.
If you haven’t upgraded to Vista yet, or you can’t justify the expenditure then check out Vista Transformation Pack 7 which has just been released. This free package will allow you to give your PC the slick Vista look and feel for free. Setting up VTP7 is easy as there is now a one-page setup page that lets you do a quick install. It even checks for software conflicts with other skinning programs you might have installed like WindowBlinds.

Good one really, for people who have low CPU speed n memory and like to use vista, this would work better then haveing Vista eating 550MB ram at normal run immediately after installation and CPU usage is always more than 10%

It will eat resources if your pc has low config. And 30 mb to download.

i installed an earlier iteration of this and it removed the DNS numbers from my wifi settings.. took me ages to work out what had gone wrong
I would advise anyone who is thinking of getting this to just save up for vista if having all those effects are important to them.. also in the version i had the transparency effect was weak.. check out XPize for a neat GUI overhaul. just google XPize for it.
