Defensio Anti-Spam Plugin - Anyone On The Beta?

Defensio is a new anti-spam plugin for WordPress that claims to be better than Akismet, which is the most commonly used anti-spam WordPress plugin.  Given that I’m not a big fan of Akismet this doesn’t mean a lot to me, but I was wondering if anyone is part of the Defensio beta trial and whether they wanted to share their views so far?

I stopped using Akismet a long time ago, as I didn’t like the way I couldn’t correct false negatives, which is why I use Spam Karma 2 which is doing an almost perfect job on my blog. Lately though I’ve had to approve more comments as I removed the captcha that was challenging borderline comments based on reader feedback.

I also use a few more spam plugins to stop referral spam and trackback spam.

    Claims is the big word here Ev. How is this plugin getting so much hype? Their website tells you nothing.

    The place Akismet has achived it is hard for any other pulgin to achive the same.
