Friday Fun: What Happens When You’ve Got Far Too Much Time On Your Hands

Here are some videos of some people who have developed totally useless talents in their idle time.

I have no idea how much time these guys must have spent in video arcades perfecting their ’skillz’. I bet the basketball dude is probably going to have arthritis in his shoulders in a few years, just like that speed eating guy who can now only just about open his mouth after developing arthritis in his jaw after scoffing down dozens of hotdogs in minutes.

I imagine that the basketball guy is banned from most arcades, or he’s not allowed to claim prizes anymore.

The second video shows an insane gamer playing Ikaruga with two ships by himself! I’ve never played Ikaruga, but I can believe the claim that it’s the hardest shoot-em up, which was my favourite games genre before they died out. Remember classics like SlapFight, Raiden, R-Type and Nemesis? Well, I’ve never seen a vertical shoot-em up game where the opening levels are as hard as Ikaruga.
