What Would You Do If You Inherited A Celeb’s Mobile Number?

Paris

TechDigest have an interesting story about student Shira Barlow, who inherited Paris Hilton’s old mobile number when she got a new phone. As a result, she’s getting lots of party invites from people who haven’t updated their records. She even got a flood of calls from people offering their condolences when Paris got jailed.

She apparently hasn’t managed to turn having Paris Hilton’s number into an advantage as she hasn’t been able to walk into any events. If it were me I would just ask the party organisers to send the invites via post to ‘Shira Barlow’ and explain that this is an alias that Paris likes to use ;-)

If you could borrow any celebrities phone for a day, whose would it be?

  • I think at this point and time, Paris's would be the phone # to have. She gets paid to just show up and drink wherever she goes and gets praised for it...WTF
  • wow, that is great to get a public person's inherited number.
but, it's not always a funny thing all the time
  • lolx it is quite amazing how ordinary person can get fame by having the old numbers. It is just the luck this will turn the gal into a celeb alais.

Being with celeb give you so much fame and having phone number can make your his/her friend which is even more cool. lolx
  • Mine would have to be either Indiana Jones, Jean-Luc Picard or Emperor Palpatine...oh you mean a real life celeb?

Officially it would be Steven Spielberg then. Whenever George Lucas called me I would tell him to start writing Indy 5 and Star Wars 7.

Unofficially it would be Hugh Hefner for obvious reasons, but please don't tell my wife ;)
  • Lol. Nice one. I would not prefer to use a celebrity number as many of the stars here in India have dangerous connections. :D
