Google Adsense Cheque Bounces!

MobileJones had a very interesting and funny experience trying to pay a Google Adsense cheque into their bank account.

Despite Google being a very cash rich company, the Google Adsense cheque bounced and after initially struggling to get through to someone at Google, it looks like it all will be sorted soon. Guess it proves that no matter how much money you have, you can still have cashflow problems!

Personally I’ve had no problems contacting Google Adsense ever since I discovered a way to get in touch with the UK Google Adsense team; I’ve always had a response to queries within 24 hours. I would like to think it’s because I’ve hit the level where Google Adsense pay attention to me, but I doubt it.

Does anyone know how much you have to make to qualify for a Christmas present from Google? I’m making about $4k a month, so I’m guessing that Google are making about $2K a month or $24K/pa from my sites, so I’m hoping they can use some of that cash to buy me a digital photo frame, or whatever the treat is this year!

  • That could be a problem of "Payee endorsement required". May not be because of Google having no cash!
  • I think it is done by mistake. Google is very good when it comes to send payment to its publishers. I think some problem that wont happen in the future.
  • that wouldn't happen - if they cheque's been issued it has to be honoured. If your account gets banned you will lose all earnings for that period
  • Will the Google Adsense cheque been bounced if a Google Adsense account is banned before the webmaster bank in the cheque?
  • I'd like to get some Google gifts too. As long as it's not Google underwear, I'd be happy heh.
  • I've been using Adsnese since the beginning and have never received a gift :( I always feel a little overlooked. I must prefer the customer service over at Yahoo, but I was never able to get their system to properly integrate with the subject matter of my sites, therefore resulting in a low CTR.
