XS2TheWorld: Use Your Mobile As A Translator On Holiday
Everton | Jul 17, 2007 | Comments
There have been a number of services in the past that have tried to deliver a mobile translation or phrasebook service designed for holiday-goers, but none were any good.
XS2TheWorld might change all that. The service is claiming to be the world’s first mobile phone application that turns your phone into a multilingual holiday or business phrasebook. Up to 300 phrases are available for each of the seven languages supported, displaying each phonetically and fluently speaking them in the local language. The range of words is based around a number of activities from local customs, travel, doctors or emergencies to general conversations, flirting and fun.
There are also city guides available. If you’re quick you can download the application for free from www.xs2theworld.com – normally it would cost £5.
