XS2TheWorld: Use Your Mobile As A Translator On Holiday
There have been a number of services in the past that have tried to deliver a mobile translation or phrasebook service designed for holiday-goers, but none were any good.
XS2TheWorld might change all that. The service is claiming to be the world’s first mobile phone application that turns your phone into a multilingual holiday or business phrasebook. Up to 300 phrases are available for each of the seven languages supported, displaying each phonetically and fluently speaking them in the local language. The range of words is based around a number of activities from local customs, travel, doctors or emergencies to general conversations, flirting and fun.
There are also city guides available. If you’re quick you can download the application for free from www.xs2theworld.com - normally it would cost £5.

Verizon needs to jump on this. Seems like it would be the perfect compliment to their already impressive list of VZW apps.

Mobile tech is getting better and better each day. And i believe it will be the next big medium for advertisers.

I’m sure you’re right considering advertisers 3gp, and I’m sure “soon” us bloggers will have to worry about the mobile platform too.

curious of the content of xs2 is sponsored already.
Don’t think so cause the quality of xs2Paris is very good (happen to lived there last year and this would have been great for me),

@Marc
I think my info is very usefull.
Also, i realy like the fact that i can start to learn some basics of a language since it is written phoneticly and spoken phrases, ideal way to practise.
