Install the New Alexa Firefox Toolbar To Improve Alexa Rank

My Alexa Rank has taken a bit of a battering over the last two weeks, falling 2000 places. I have a suspicion that Alexa have changed the way they calculate Alexa Ranks, as other sites I keep an eye on seem to have suffered as well.
So, I started looking around for additional measures I could add to the list of things I’m doing to improve Alexa Rank, as my daily numbers are even worse, so I need to do something fast to stem the tide before my 3 month average Alexa Rank is hit hard.
The best feature I could find to add to my experiment is the new official Alexa Toolbar for Firefox, called Sparky. I’ve added to this to all of my PCs, so I’m confident now that all of my sessions will be counted.
I’m encouraging other readers who use Firefox to do the same. Not only will this help you improve your own Alexa Rank, but given that I’ve noticed that we all seem to read the same sites, you will helping out all the sites that you read like Connected Internet.

You have no idea how long I have been waiting for the Firefox version of the Alexa toolbar to be released. I am so happy that they finally got around to releasing the darn thing. Hopefully my blog will be getting better ranking now since a larger portion of my visitors use Firefox.
Installed!
I hope it helps!
Oh yeah! I never noticed that. I thought the plugin used tag to separate actual visitors from bots
I have read somewhere that only the alexa on IE 6 and above have the desired effect. Is it so?
