Improve Alexa Rank With Alexa Redirect Plugin
Yesterday I encouraged readers to install the new Firefox Alexa toolbar to help improve Alexa Rank. However, I might have found a better way to improve Alexa Rank without your readers having to use an Alexa Toolbar.
The Alexa Redirect plugin adds an Alexa Redirect to all internal links on a WordPress blog. What this will do is send all readers who click on a link through Alexa, so that their visit is counted by Alexa. I’ve just installed it, so I’ll be able to tell you tomorrow if it’s working or not.

This redirect trick is no longer works. Alexa took down it’s redirect site.

I think that only way to get good alexa ranking is get more traffic from users who have Alexa toolbar installed. URL redirect through Alexa may decrease google page rank but not sure about it yet. Ask your friends to brows through your site with Alexa toolbar installed. However, major antivirus programms detect the toolbar as spyware/virus and would tend to block the installation process. So I guess less and less people are using Alexa toolbar as any new user when sees warning from Antivirus software, will freak out and wont even bother to install it.

we’d already established that - read earlier comments. This plugin may counter this problem.

What I gather from here is that you may loose your PR for your internal pages
